Post graduation, many of my friends have plans, but not everyone does. I am lucky however, that I do have a job lined up. Granted, its only until the end of the year, but it's still a job! Starting May 17, two days after graduation, I shall be a lab assistant at the State Department of Entomology. What exactly I shall be doing is yet a mystery. Because this job is close to home, I'll still be living at home which will leave open a lot of time for some fun projects.
Right now, my main project is reviving the family garden. My close friends know that a long term goal of mine is self reliance. And what better way to start then with some small scale gardening. I'm thinking of growing some heirloom husk cherries (pineapple tomatillo). Other tasty treats will be peppers, some good old fashion tomatoes, not so spicy but a little kick peppers (for homemade salsa!), cucumbers, edamame, spinach... who knows what else.
Well as terribly exciting as all of this is, and I'm sure that there literally hundreds of people who have been waiting for an update. But this girl here has a senior thesis to write.
